Here's one for everyone out there. Each dollar you deposit is loaned 9 times over @ interest. The root of the problem is the fractional reserve banking system. The bank of Canada virtually privatized in 1918 shortly after the robber barons Federal Reserve began in 1913 - it's all a central bank. 100 years later and nothing has changed. How is it that we as society have changed, advanced, come a long way with technology, but have not changed a single thing with this con for a 100 years.

The system from there inherently relies on growth and mindless consumption. As long as the central banking system is around the
cycle of ups and downs will continue. The most fascinating thing about our monetary system is all these derivatives, GDP, consumer indexes, etc have zero bearing on our standard of living. And so the machine goes we have to spend more, inflation rises, and all the money to pay off the debt has to come from even more debt. The cycle must be broken-good on all the Occupy Movements out there.

The World has risen to the occasion to stop these greedy fools.
Don't stop keep on hitting them where it hurts, in their pocket books.
Money is nothing to me.

I'm sorry but I don't want to be an Emperor, that's not my business. I
don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if
possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another,
human beings are like that.
We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery.
We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room
for everyone and the earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

The way of life can be free and beautiful. But we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate;
has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in:
machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.
Our knowledge has made us cynical,
our cleverness hard and unkind.
We think too much and feel too little:
More than machinery we need humanity;
More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.

Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature
of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men, cries out for
universal brotherhood for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching
millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women and little
children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent
people. To those who can hear me I say "Do not despair".

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness
of men who fear the way of human progress: the hate of men will pass and
dictators die and the power they took from the people, will return to the
people and so long as men die [now] liberty will never perish. . .

Soldiers: don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you and enslave
you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what
to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you as cattle, as cannon fodder.

Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men, with machine
minds and machine hearts. You are not machines. You are not cattle. You are
men. You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate, only the
unloved hate. Only the unloved and the unnatural. Soldiers: don't fight for
slavery, fight for liberty.

In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke it is written:
"The kingdom of God is within man"
Not one man, nor a group of men, but in all men; in you, the people.

You the people have the power, the power to create machines, the power to
create happiness. You the people have the power to make life free and
beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of
democracy let's use that power, let us all unite. Let us fight for a new
world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give
you the future and old age and security. By the promise of these things,
brutes have risen to power, but they lie. They do not fulfil their promise,
they never will. Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people. Now
let us fight to fulfil that promise. Let us fight to free the world, to do
away with national barriers, do away with greed, with hate and intolerance.
Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will
lead to all men's happiness.

Soldiers! In the name of democracy, let us all unite!

Wow! Really nice folks running the place. The food is awesome and not too pricey - the steak sandwich is "to die for" and I hear the roast beef is even better! They have karaoke on Thursday nights and it is a real hoot. Totally different from the infamous Roadhouse; not the same crowd at all!

My dad is Ernie Scar. I am his youngest of three daughters. Having recently passed away in February 2011, keeping his identity a secret by his request is no longer of importance. I personally dont have an opinion firmly in any manor for my father's parody work. But I would like to set a few things straight about who he is and how Brocket 99 started.
He was a white man originally from Calgary, and one of the things he hated the most about Lethbridge was the number of first nations people he saw in the area that seemed to do nothing but waste their lives in the streets. He didnt have any kind of hatred for the people personally, but instead of leaving his thoughts at a simple disliking in his head, after coming across AIDS Radio, he did infact use it as inspiration for Brocket 99. I do not condone the offences that clearly exist in the tapes, but like most information known to the public about Brocket 99, it's true that it was made just to be a joke between friends.
They are not basement tapes made by students at the university. My father was a grown man working in a few different radio stations and also as a night club DJ when he and his friends sat down to make Brocket 99.
The first documentary mentioned above is absolutely in existance, I have a copy. But the second is completely false. My father wanted nothing to do with being recognized for his connection to Brocket 99. That way the "fame" and the hate and everything in between stemming from Brocket 99 did not phase his life style - exactly the way he intended it to be when it started as a spoof between friends.

My dad is Ernie Scar. I am his youngest of three daughters. Having recently passed away in February 2011, keeping his identity a secret by his request is no longer of importance. I personally dont have an opinion firmly in any manor for my father’s parody work.
I do not condone the offences that clearly exist in the tapes, but like most information known to the public about Brocket 99, it’s true that it was made just to be a joke between friends.
That way the “fame” and the hate and everything in between stemming from Brocket 99 did not phase his life style – exactly the way he intended it to be when it started as a spoof between friends.

Regarding the posting by Johnathan Ruzek, "McGuinty's, the New Pub in Town", it was absurd to have stated, "Now I'm not sure if he's drunk or just Irish", which plays to the stereotype of the Irish as drunkards.

Secondly, the statement, "I'm sure the ampunt of stabbing will probably stay the same", based on what evidence?? At best, that statement is just speculative unless the author of that post has 100% over the idiots who choose to bring knives into publicly licensed venues, which would go to explain the certainty of that statement.

As for the insinuation about "McGuinty's Irish Pub" being adjacent to "Pulse Nightclub" it is what it is. If patrons want to imbibe at a public licensed establishment, which has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and competent staff that has an adequate menu along with a variety of beers, ales, and liquor before head next door to "Pulse Nightclub" then that's very convenient.

What had happened with the multiple stabbings at the then so called "World Famous Roadhouse" back on Oct. 18 had happened. In my opinion, it was an aberration. Get over it! There's a new nightclub/dance club and Irish pub in Lethbridge, and money has been spent to renovate both publicly licensed establishments. "McGuinty's Irish Pub" has a charm about it along with friendly service and a plethora of beers, ales to choose from. The men's washroom is unrecognizable from the disgusting one at the ole "Roadhouse", and the new one is very clean without the centimetres of filthy water mixed with urine from smashed urinals and plugged toilets pooling on the floor.

I have found "McGuinty's Irish Pub" during my patronizations of it to be very good experiences in terms of service, selection of beers, ales, and as for the food like Irish stew, and Shepherd's pie, the two items I can comment on, they weren't that filling for a big eater like me as I found myself wanting more.

Overall the ambience of the venue is very cosy if you want to just sit alone or with associates to drink your drinks, sample some finger food, watch televised sporting events, or just relax. And I would patronize "McGuinty's Irish Pub" again.
