Awesome video short shot in Lethbridge!
Stay classy this holiday season, Lethbridge
Pour yourself some brandy, turn on some jazz and luxuriate by the roaring fire.
Galt Gardens gets night safety lights
To please the sun-god, Lethbridge holds a “Festival of Lights” each year. To mark the tenth year of this celebration, a new choreographed light show has been installed in Galt Gardens and a hobo clad in red opens his lap to the children, amongst other ceremonial things.
Trading one superstition for another

The godly folks of Raymond and Cardston have decided that it’d be sinful to hold Hallowe’en on a Sunday, so they moved it a day ahead of schedule. Makes me wonder why they participate in this demonic, evil holiday at all.
“…but for them, it’s the way it’s been done, and likely, the way it will always be done.”
Smart thinking.
Happy Canada Day!
If you’re looking for things to do, my friend Jeddy has a complete list of the day’s celebrations, finishing off with the traditional less-than-spectacular fireworks show!
Oh, and does anyone remember this?
Happy Mothers’ Day!
Lethbridge lonely hearts
Today is Valentine’s Day, and congratulations to those who find themselves in the warm embrace of another, enjoying roses, cinnamon hearts, chocolates, champagne, perfume and lingerie. You make me sick. This post isn’t for you!
It was some guy named Stendhal who said, “Very small degree of hope is sufficient to cause the birth of love.” And for those of you who haven’t completely given up yet, I have compiled a list of ways to find yourself a date, or at least a one-night stand.
Merry Xmas!
Lethbridge has it MADE
Edit Shoppe and modernegg are presenting the 2nd annual MADE this Friday. Both local and Southern Alberta vendors will be selling modern and stylish items the night of the Downtown Bright Lights Festival. It’s a great event to find some unique holiday gifts.
