Recently, I had the opportunity to contribute a guest strip for Zac Erickson‘s web comic, Team Jetpack 104. I thought it’d be cool to interview Zac and let Lethbridge in on his work. And since we’re both geeks, we did it using Google Wave (verdict: cool).
Interview is after the jump. Enjoy!

It’s getting to be that time of the season again, where rejected reindeer volunteer their time to drive folks inebriated with holiday cheer home, in their own cars no less.
Lethbridge’s “Operation Red Nose” kicks off November 27th and runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday up until New Years Eve. So if you plan on celebrating the holidays with drunken enthusiasm, ensure you get home safely by calling 403-320-4155. Or else chance coming home with me.

Lethbridge Fashion Weekend, where "cold gets cool," starts tomorrow evening with a hot & sexy fashion show, and continues the next day with an exclusive sale of original clothing and accessories.
The Lethbian Lover, who has an affinity for camel toe, will be taking in the show as per usual. It will be held at 7PM the Lethbridge Legion, so you may see me standing at attention.

Zac Erickson, who’s from Raymond (I’ll forgive him), is the creator of a web comic called Team Jetpack 104. Now I’ve never met him in real life, but follow him on Twitter alongside a few other Lethbridge peeps.
He’s been striving to improve his art skills and it inspired me to make a strip for him. He hasn’t taken me up on that offer yet, but did gleefully accept the guest comic I drew! Here it is:
Also, watch for an upcoming interview with Zac!

2009 marked the centennial of the Lethbridge High-Level Bridge. As part of the celebration, somebody thought to light up the bridge at night this past September.
Unfortunately (but not really), I was in Las Vegas at the time so I missed the first lighting. Luckily, this past Remembrance Day they lit it up once again, which I also missed (I forgot).
Thankfully, my colleague Martina Emard took some amazing photos and has allowed me to publish there here!

More photos and thoughts after the jump.

Edit Shoppe and modernegg are presenting the 2nd annual MADE this Friday. Both local and Southern Alberta vendors will be selling modern and stylish items the night of the Downtown Bright Lights Festival. It’s a great event to find some unique holiday gifts.

Today, yours truly met his future ex-wife, Lethbridge’s "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" superstar, Tara-Jean Popowich.
Now you may think I had this planned all along, but it was fate that brought us together! It just so happened that on the day when I got my license back oil changed, she was at Milestone Mazda receiving her prize of a Mazda 3 and signing autographs for small girls and old people.
Tara-Jean, perhaps one day we’ll get to polka. Until then, know that I am always watching you…
You also smell good.
My liver can attest, I’m a connoisseur of beers. Imagine my delight when I discovered that Lethbridge has its own beer festival with over 100 types of domestic and international brews, probably including Old Style Pilsner, one of my dear favourites (among MANY others).
Tickets are only $10 in advance, available at The Wine Cavern. I’m so there.

I’ve previously written about my friend Leeroy Stagger, who had recently been touring Germany to promote his album, "Everything is Real."

An insider source, DL, posted an iTunes-ready live recording of Leeroy Stagger & The Wildflowers, from when they played at Laboratorium in Stuttgart on October 23, 2009.
You can get the free tracks here (they’re amazing quality). And if you like what you hear, I suggest you support independent music and buy one Leeroy Stagger’s albums!
Also, his wife is a great hairstylist and she’s cutting my hair today. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
